Welcome to the Department of Electronics. With a view of keeping abreast the fast emerging technology deeply influencing the activities of the society, in the year 1985, the Department of Electronics was started at Bankura Christian College starting with three years degree pass course. The youngest in the science faculty later introduced Honours Course in 1997. Located at the first floor of the Chappel Block, the department is well equipped with all infrastructural facilities. Now there are two faculty members in the department, Dr. Debasish Biswas, joined in the year 1987 and Dr. Arindam Sen, joined in the year 2006.

The department has, to its credit, a well-equipped laboratory and a book bank of its own. Although the number of faculty is inadequate but their educational qualifications, research and teaching experience as well as acquaintance with the mode teaching tool are up to the mark and would be considered as competent for teaching and conducting research activities.
